This privacy policy explains how ValueDo Life Sciences Consulting LLC (“ValueDo,” “we” and “us”) obtains, utilizes, discloses and safeguards information collected from Panelists (referred to either as Panelists” or “you”) and visitors to its websites.

 

The Personal Data We Collect From You

ValueDo collects personal data that Panelists choose to provide to us on the Websites (including information referenced in the “The Use of Cookies” section of this Privacy Policy), via email, telephone and otherwise, including name, contact information, work address, email address and telephone number. If you are a potential Panelist, we may additionally request employment and biographical information. Information such as home address, social security or EIN numbers, banking information and payment preferences will be collected strictly for purposes of issuing the Panelist an honorarium for participation in a survey. We may also collect information obtained from third-party background check providers. In addition, ValueDo’s Websites may automatically record information upon visiting our Websites. . This information can include your Internet Protocol address and data concerning webpage requests.

ValueDo may place small files called “cookies” on your computer when you visit the Websites. Cookies facilitate your utilization of the Websites and enable us to track activity and customize your website experience. If you do not wish to receive a cookie from ValueDo, you may set your Internet browser settings to decline or disable the cookie.

 

How Your Personal Data is Used

ValueDo will only utilize your personal data for the purposes of performing our legitimate business operations, including providing you with survey opportunities, notifying you of ValueDo developments, responding to your requests and to administer honoraria. We may also use such information including the Panelist’s job title or job description to market our services and to develop, support and improve our business. At no time, will ValueDo disclose the following information to third parties or utilize the information in our marketing services: your name, the name of your employer or organization, IP address, web page request information or otherwise include any descriptions that could be used to identify you. Please note that we will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing or solicitation purposes.

 

How Your Personal Data is Disclosed

Personal data provided to ValueDo will be processed and stored inside the United States and will be accessed by our staff and those third parties working for us. Only that information necessary for the individual to perform their job function will be made available to them. ValueDo will enter into Confidentiality Agreements will all third parties that we utilize to assist us in performing analytics or business operations and staff shall be required to maintain the confidentiality of all personal information provided by you.

There may be situations where ValueDo may be required disclose certain personal information such as pursuant to a court order, an order by a governmental body in compliance with state or federal law or regulation or to enforce the Terms and Conditions Agreement. In such cases, ValueDo will notify you of any such disclosure. All other disclosures will be made pursuant to a written authorization from the Panelist.

In the event that the Panelist or the Panelist’s employer requests limitations regarding information provided or on your participation as a Panelist, ValueDo will review such request and determine if we are able to able to agree to that limitation. ValueDo may discuss with third parties your participation or proposed participation in any survey for the purpose of verifying any factual information you provide to us or any consents or approvals that may be needed.

 

Updating Your Information

You are entitled to review the personal information ValueDo holds about you and you have the right to request that we revise your personal information to ensure that it is current and correct. We may also revise your information using data obtained from third parties or public sources.

 

Information Security

We take the privacy and security of each Panelist’s personal information very seriously. We use physical and technological security measures to protect your information both online and offline from unauthorized access and against illegal manipulation and processing, accidental loss and damage. We will preserve your information for a reasonable period of time or as required by law.

 

Opting Out

You may elect to opt-out of participation in the Payer Panel at any time by providing ValueDo with written or electronic notice. Upon receipt of such notice, we will cease contacting you and cease presenting survey opportunities to you.

 

Updates to the Policy

ValueDo may update this policy from time to time. To the extent permitted by law, any changes to our privacy policy will be posted to the Websites and will become effective ten (10) business days after posting. If after you review the change in policy, you then wish to terminate your participation as a Panelist, please notify ValueDo. After the ten (10) days, your continued use of the Websites and failure to opt out of membership in the Panel will indicate your agreement to such changes.

 

Use of Cookies

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience and for analytic purposes. We also use cookies and similar technologies for purposes of including social network sharing capabilities on our main site, analytics, marketing, and session control.

De-identified or Anonymized Data

We may create de-identified or anonymous data from Personal Data by removing data components (such as your name, email address, or linkable tracking ID) that makes the data personally identifiable to you or through obfuscation or through other means. Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Data, as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or comply with applicable industry standards.
